We only produce and roast the rare and scarce Arabica Typica beans, which demand more attention, but results in superior quality and flavor. Grown in the volcanic and rich mountain slopes of the Andes, under the shade of the canopy of the tropical forest, teeming with varieties of birds, and orchids.
LABOR OF LOVE
To grow Ospina Coffee is an art, and a labor of love. Our rare Arabica Typica beans are cultivated under the shade of the tropical forest and are grown at high elevations in the Andes.
CRAFTING OSPINA COFFEE
To begin with, all of our Arabica Typica beans are hand picked when they are ripe. Then they are washed, fermented and sun dried. Finally they are milled and roasted to perfection.
THE ART OF BREWING
To extract the maximum pleasure from Ospina Coffee, grind your whole beans perfectly and brew it in pure water. The water temperature must be between 195 F and 205 F.
